Tiny House 1-week
TEACHER: BEN GARRATT
A hands-on tiny house building workshop (tentatively booked for Salt Spring Island, B.C.) will get you familiar with all aspects of building so you can better understand the building cycle for your own tiny house. Geared to beginners but with enough work involved for builders to break a sweat, Ben Garratt will take you from learning safety with power tools to raising a roof in just one week!
Based in Vancouver B.C., Ben has built over 20 tiny homes and really really loves teaching hands-on build workshops. He's led them all over North America, New Zealand and Australia (where he hails from). "Workshops go hand in hand with Tiny Houses. We learn with our Heads, Heart and Hands and the students on each and every course have been inspiring change-makers from all over the world. Learning together how to live in community, communicate, practice permaculture, make life-long connections and build beautiful structures." For more information, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and you can find out more about his design, ethic and workshops at www.bengarratt.com.
“The 3 day weekend hands on course was a blast. I found confidence in using power tools and learnt more about tiny house design and building than 5 years of Youtube”
